Barbed surgical sutures are monofilament structure with uni-directional and bi-directional barbs that provide easy passage through the tissue and wound closure without knotting.
They are made in different thicknesses, lengths in combination with needles made of stainless steel series 300 and 400, or from special high elastic alloys.
